Visitors to the site are able to access information on a variety of topics, including lodging, attractions, restaurants, cultural arts, birding and wildlife viewing, special events and beaches. Visitors can also request a free Official Santa Cruz County Traveler’s Guide on the site. There are a number of opportunities for individual businesses or organizations to effectively promote to visitors.
Using VSCC’s Partner Portal, you can create a free online account which will enable you to customize your free online listing. Online listings include a direct link to your website, a phone number, description, and one image. Your listing can be updated at any time.

The 2023 Official Santa Cruz County Travelers Guide will focus on what Visit Santa Cruz County has identified as the four brand pillars of the destination: agriculture, coastline, redwoods and our beloved artist community. These organically relevant pillars represent towers of strength that require our collective attention, admiration and affection. The Travelers Guide will use the pillars as guideposts to illustrate a meaningful sense of place that will set the tone for editorial content.
This full-color magazine is published annually and is the most widely distributed tourism publication in Santa Cruz County. Complete with photographs, relevant articles and various reference listings, it is a veritable encyclopedia of area visitor information.
With an expanded reach and distribution of over 120,000 of this premiere publication, thousands of the Official Guides are available in hotels and provided to points of interest and State Park visitor center locations throughout the county, Visit California Welcome Centers and other key California and out-of-state markets. The Official Guide is also mailed free of charge domestically upon request and can be downloaded from Santacruz.org.
