The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival began as a one-day event in downtown Santa Cruz. Last year, on the 10-year anniversary, ten venues filled up and nearly 4,000 people attended one or more events over four days. In 2024, the festival continues with a city-wide roll out, incorporating visual, performing, media, and literary arts with five festival-filled days.
The growing list of 2024 partners and venues includes 11th Hour Coffee, Blue Lagoon, Bookshop Santa Cruz, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Rio Theater, Rosie McCann’s, Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History (MAH), and Woodhouse Blending & Brewing.
