Experience the magic of the holiday season with Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker”. There are 52 professional musicians in the live orchestra conducted by Maestro Pamela Martin. There are over 50 local pre-professional dancers, and two world-class guest artists including Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre (SCBT) alumni and Houston Ballet Principal dancer Melody Mennite as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Lucien Postlewaite (principal dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet) as her Cavalier. The brilliant supporting cast features SCBT Senior Company dancers, as well as dancers from all over the county.
