Head to the Quarry Amphitheater to see the pioneers of Sludge Metal, Acid Bath! This historic reunion balances crushing guitar with haunting vocals. This gothic thriller set to music is stacked with Melvins, High on Fire, and Windhand.
The Quarry Amphitheater was carved from a former limestone quarry in the 1960’s. The unique terraced asymmetrical design allows for amazing sightlines as you sludge nod with towering redwoods all around you. You won’t want to miss seeing Acid Bath at this venue!
Locals Love: The unique venue.
First Timers Miss: Bringing a blanket or towel to keep comfortable in a redwood micro-climate.
Insights: The Quarry Amphitheater is inside UCSC, so parking fees and lot usage are unpredictable. There are public e-bike stations on campus and throughout Santa Cruz and Capitola. Watch to see if a rally bus is available for the event.
