Lina and Comapny: Sugarscape Eggs Pop-Up

Lina and Company will be hosting an Easter Pop-up featuring Dawn Nemec. Come springtime each year, Dawn obsesses over creating panoramic sugar eggs for sale locally in the Santa Cruz area, where she has established a loyal following. These tiny handmade sugarscapes showcase true professional quality piping and sugar sculpting, bringing cutting edge technique to an old fashioned, nostalgic art form. Dawn’s philosophy is to create these tiny sugar worlds using only edible components. She hand molds each sugar bunny and lamb in sugar pastillage and then hand paints every one with food coloring before nestling it in its own edible spring garden. After 21 years she continues to believe that each and every sugar egg contains a touch of real Spring magic. There is no charge to come and see these creations!
