On Saturdays, Dos Aguilas welcomes the public to go out to the olive grove to learn how to cure olives for the table. They will start with a U-pick beginning at 10am. A pound of olives for curing are included in the class fee along with a quart jar to cure them in. You are welcome to pick more olives for $4 per pound. At 11 the curing class will begin. Classes will be held rain or shine in their tractor barn and last 45 minutes to an hour. Over the years Roger has taught hundreds of people the many methods for curing table olives. Samples will be available for tasting so you can decide which method appeals to you.
Reserve your spot early as these classes do sell out. There is no need to sign up for the U-picks if you are in the class.
