Capitola’s Annual Beach Festival will have something for everyone to enjoy.

Head to Capitola for this free, family-friendly, and fun event. See the orange button link above to find registration links for activities you are interested in. Unless otherwise indicated, events listed are free to participate in!

Saturday, September 26 Schedule:

  • ($52.28 to register) 8am – 11am: Little Wharf 3-mile race
  • 10am – 2pm: Sand Sculpture Contest. Awards at 2:30pm
  • 11am – finish: Cornhole on the Beach
  • 12pm – 3pm: Children’s Art – Create and display at Esplanade Park
  • 12pm – 4pm: Scavenger Hunt
  • 4pm – 6pm: Music at the Beach
  • 7pm – 8pm: Lighted Nautical Parade on Soquel Creek
  • 8pm: Drone Show Following The Nautical Parade

Sunday, September 27

  • 7am – 11am: Fishing Derby
  • (kids $20, Adults $40, Swimmers Free) 9am – 3pm: Paddleboard
  • 10am – 11:30am Ukuleles on the Beach
  • 10am – finish: Horseshoes on the Sand
  • 11am – 2pm: Chalk Art on the Seawall
  • 1pm – finish: Rowboat Races
