In this workshop, you will learn the art of metal embossing. Join artist Donna Thompson as she guides you creating a unique image on lightweight aluminum tooling foil (much heavier than the foil used at home). The technique of impressing designs on metal dates back to ancient Egypt and can be found in metal artwork throughout the world. In this workshop, you can make a frame, a small mask, or an animal. You will be given an image to trace and guided instruction in bringing the image to life.
