Rooted in the Italian coastal town of Sestri Levante, the Olivieri family brought their passion for food to Santa Cruz in the 1950s. What began as a small stand near the Wharf has grown into Aldo’s Bakery in Soquel Village, where for over 20 years we’ve crafted fresh breads, pastas, and pastries.
Our expert baker Librado preserves Aldo’s original recipes, while Italian pastry chef Alessio adds the art of traditional Italian and French desserts. We proudly source from local partners like Bonny Doon Farm, Miller Honeybees, and Watsonville Coast Produce, keeping our community at the heart of everything we bake.
