Here are 5 Ways to do Seascape Resort

Perched on spectacular seaside bluffs above the Monterey Bay, Seascape Beach Resort captures the natural splendor, sunny vibes, and beachy goodness of the California coast. Beautiful, lush grounds have made it a favorite with happy couples tying the knot, but you needn’t swap rings to make it your big day too. Here are five ways we enjoy this awesome coastal destination.

#1: Marvel at Ridiculous Sunsets
If you think the views from Seascape are amazing during the day, just wait until the sun begins to dip into the bay. The coastal bluffs and shore below are drenched in golden sunlight, while the sky is painted fiery shades of yellows, oranges, and violet. It’s the perfect time to stroll the resort’s cliffside path and find a quiet spot to pause and enjoy the show.

#2: Roast S’mores around a Blazing Beach Bonfire
What you need to know about Seascape’s beach bonfires is not just that they have them, but that they’ll do all of the work too! With advance notice, staffers will organize the perfect beach bonfire with beach chairs and s’mores fixings for you and four friends. At the end of the night, ring for a staff-driven golf cart to zip you back up to the resort.

#3: Sip Craft Cocktails with a View
Craft cocktails at Sanderlings, the resort’s signature restaurant and lounge, blend small-batch spirits with Santa Cruz culture as in the Margadisiac which features El Ladron from local distiller Venus Spirits and the Castroville Collins which includes an artichoke liqueur, a clever nod to the famed local crop. Enjoy drinks on the oceanview patio and pair them with street food-inspired bites such as Red Miso-Glazed Pork Belly Lettuce Cups, Carnitas Street Tacos, and a Spicy Poke Bowl. Locals should take note of regular weekday promotions such as Neighbor Nights, Wine Wednesdays, and our personal fave, Tiki Fridays.

#4: Reserve a Tee Time
Rolling, manicured fairways set against a blue ocean horizon should lure any golf enthusiast out of bed in the morning. Seascape’s classically designed 18-hole golf course welcomes the public with over 6,000 yards of play amidst the cypress trees. There’s also an adjacent driving range, mini putting green, pro shop, and a clubby lunch spot with bar overlooking the greens.

#5: Get Your First Night Free!
Check in on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday for three or more nights and you’ll get the first night free! Check Seascape’s website for other promotions including current Spring Fling rates with discounted rooms plus complimentary food and drink vouchers.
