Grammy Award-winning rockstar and activist, Melissa Etheridge, will kick-off her 2024 I’m Not Broken tour at the Kaiser Permanente Arena here in Santa Cruz!
Melissa Etheridge burst onto the American rock scene in 1988 with her self-titled debut album, earning acclaim and a Grammy appearance. She received the Songwriter of the Year award in 1996. Known for confessional lyrics and a raspy voice, she remains a favorite singer-songwriter. In October 2022, she premiered the one-woman show My Window – A Journey Through Life, which later headlined on Broadway in September 2023. On the same day, Etheridge released her memoir, Talking to My Angels, debuting at #9 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
