Driven by the Farm-to-Table philosophy of French-trained Chef Shannon Madison, Bistro One Twelve is the dining destination and gathering spot for the Santa Cruz Tannery Arts Center. Our “Decidedly Local, Aggressively Seasonal” food is made from scratch, plant forward, and is adaptable for many dietary restrictions.
Customers travel out of their way for our famous breakfast burritos that are generous enough to get you through an entire day. Grab-and-go sandwiches and salads are available from our deli case first thing in the morning and throughout the day for patrons on the run. Some of our regulars swear that our gourmet flatbreads are the best pizza in Santa Cruz, while others enjoy our selection of seasonal soups, salads, and sandwiches with friends on our sunny, pet-friendly patio. In the evenings we feature activities and amusements for the community paired with a mellow beer and wine program. Daily specials include Meatless Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, Trivia Thursdays, and once a month, First Fridays.
We have partnered with many local providers. Our extensive selection of espresso drinks is prepared using fresh roasted 11th Hour Coffee. Kerri Kreations and Kelly’s French Bakery bring us vegan cookies and wonderfully flakey and tender pastries fresh daily. Common Roots Farm grows produce to our specifications, while providing jobs for special needs adults. Fogline Farm sustainably and conscientiously raises organic-fed chicken on the coastal bluffs along the coast. Local craft beers from Shanty Shack, Discretion, and Corralitos keep our thirsts quenched. Our selection of wine is carefully curated exclusively from California vintners for sophisticated enjoyment that won’t break the bank.
