Strolls in Santa Cruz are kinda a thing. A Sunday stroll on West Cliff Drive or along Pleasure Point, a little shopping stroll Downtown or in the Village, a mellow stroll through the redwoods…Santa Cruz has got the whole relaxing walk thing DOWN. And another one to add to the list – a stroll at the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum. With 135 acres of gardens and blooms, the UCSC Arboretum is a unique and beautiful place to walk through nature.
September is California Wine Month and Santa Cruz County is the perfect destination to raise a glass! The Santa Cruz Mountains are known for their exceptional wines. The small production vineyards, the passionate, and often present, vintners, and the area’s varying climate give the region a truly unique tasting experience. But with over 70 wineries and tasting rooms, it may be hard to know where to begin. Take a peek at some fan photos of the Santa Cruz County wine experience and start exploring this beautiful region this fall!
Gorgeous sunsets are pretty standard in Santa Cruz County. They’re easy to catch, usually full of vibrant colors and pretty much always worth a look. Well thanks to @dannyburg we’ve got a nice little glimpse into yesterday’s moonset over Manresa State Beach. And Danny, your early morning surf session seemed well worth the sacrifice with this view!

I love using Instagram as a way to get inspired for travels and adventures. A quick location search and I can see a slew of current (sometimes practically live) photos of spots I’m looking to explore. On my latest hunt for a good hike I searched Castle Rock State Park and kept seeing these amazing boulders and grand vistas that I knew I wanted to see for myself. Take a peek at these Castle Rock photos – and more specifically, Goat Rock Trail photos – and get inspired for your next adventure!
Have you tried stand up paddle boarding – better known as SUP? Let these photos inspire you to take to the Monterey Bay and enjoy a day exploring over the open water!
