We get it, it’s hard to fit everything in on one trip, but next time you’re in town be sure to spend some time in Pleasure Point. Need some convincing? We’ll keep it short and sweet with these quick reasons to hit up this little seaside surf town.
You can begin your day with breakfast burritos by the bay. The Point Market and Chill Out Cafe are two popular spots in this walkable little district.
The ocean views are always framed in flowers. Enough said. It’s gorgeous.
Some of the County’s favorite food and drink spots are right on the strip. New Bohemia Brewing Company, Verve Coffee, Pleasure Pizza, and my favorite, The Penny Ice Creamery. (Their “Marshmallow Fluff” is a must at least once)
Surf, bike and board shops of all kinds are front and center and are loaded with Santa Cruz style merch.
And if you’re in town at the end of June, see about stopping in on the Annual Pleasure Point Street Fair. There’s live music, a kids’ zone, skateboard contest, beer garden, close to 100 vendors selling art, crafts, local services, plus food and beverages. It’s a fun day and a great way to get acquainted with this lovable seaside locale.
