Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History: Screaming Hand
In 2017, the Santa Cruz MAH created and curated a 30th-anniversary exhibition for Screaming Hand. The original artwork was created by Santa Cruz local Jim Phillips, but the exhibition also featured 200 other artists adaptations of the hand. From sculptures to skateboard decks, the screaming hand has seen many forms. Create your own adaptation of the iconic Screaming Hand and download the PDF. Seymour Center Distance Learning and Creature Features

To support families and teachers with the recent switch to distance learning, education staff is creating short videos for your virtual visits to the Seymour Center. First up, the sea cucumber! Tunes from Kuumbwa Jazz and the Santa Cruz MAH
Kuumbwa Jazz has developed a Spotify playlist featuring all the artists they planned to host before the shelter-in-place order took effect. The Santa Cruz MAH has also created a Spotify playlist with the best bands to play in Abbott Square.
