With so-called “brat bans” making the news these days, a parent can feel pretty self-conscious about taking their children out in public. I have to say, this isn’t the case in Santa Cruz. In fact, I feel like Santa Cruz is doing everything right to welcome families with kids of the two and four-legged varieties.
Ruff Life no more! After almost 40 years, Downtown Santa Cruz is allowing dogs to walk the streets, (with their owners, on a leash of course!) The City Council passed a temporary, three – month trial ordinance to allow dogs downtown. If the trial works, the ordinance will become permanent in November. Dog lovers, follow
Rev up your engines and start your day with an outdoor adventure as you head to Aptos, home of The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park. Nicene Marks consists of over 30 miles of trails made for hiking, jogging and biking. Picnic tables and barbecue pits are available and a trail camp is located six
