My Memorial Day Weekend In Santa Cruz

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! There were some great beach days, lots of fun events, the Boardwalk season kick-off, and lots of sun! Check out a few highlights from this long weekend and be sure to tag us in your Santa Cruz County photos by using #VisitSantaCruz and #MyWeekendInSantaCruz.

Weekend of May 26 thru May 29

MANRESA STATE BEACH: Love this beach street view near Manresa State Beach in the La Selva area. Explore some of the south county beach gems this summer.

SANTA CRUZ BEACH BOARDWALK: The Boardwalk has officially kicked off its season with rides being open daily! Looking forward to lots of evenings that roll into views like this.

ROARING CAMP RAILROADS: The 36th Annual Civil War Battles and Encampment took place at Roaring Camp this weekend. I was lucky enough to attend and would say, if you missed it, be sure to check it out next year!

PLEASURE POINT: I am pretty sure I could include Pleasure Point every single week on a roundup of weekend highlights. I mean, just look at this slice of coastline!

WILDER RANCH STATE PARK: Mountain biking is better with ocean views, it's a fact! Bike, hike, ride a horse, there's something for everyone at Wilder Ranch.

QUAIL HOLLOW RANCH: Peaceful hidden gems are an important part of summer relaxation. Sure, there will be busy beach days, but we like to even it out with a few quiet picnics off the grid.

HENRY COWELL REDWOODS STATE PARK: The River Trail at Henry Cowell is one of my favorite summer hikes. The San Lorenzo bends through the forest with the trail and there are lots of opportunities to go down to the water and explore.
