VSCC Launches "Let’s Cruz Digital Partnership Program" Targeting Small Businesses

VSCC has revised our online marketing program to enhance the online presence of partners on www.visitsantacruz.org. With over 1 million visitors expected to visit the VSCC website in 2018, the Let’s Cruz Digital Partnership Program will combine VSCC social media and PR benefits with a customized photo-centric landing page to connect businesses of all sizes with the Let’s Cruz brand.

Visit Santa Cruz County’s Let’s Cruz Digital Partnership Program for 2018 wants to leverage the increased traffic to www.visitsantacruz.org with local businesses to capture the attention of the 1 million visitors to the site who are searching for places to stay, things to do, and where to eat during their stay in Santa Cruz County.

The benefits of the Let’s Cruz Digital Partnership Program include the following:

  • An enhanced, individual landing page on www.visitsantacruz.org customized for businesses with up to five images, descriptive copy, and direct link to the business website, and for restaurant partners up to four menu items listed on the page;
  • Brochure presence at VSCC’s year-round visitor center on Water Street in Santa Cruz;
  • Social media and public relations support on a year-round basis

This program coincides with the unveiling of the Official Visit Santa Cruz County Traveler's Guide, featuring a more user-friendly, portable size and lifestyle-oriented design.

VSCC Prepares for International Trade Show

For seven years in a row, VSCC staff have built valuable relationships with the international travel trade and media outlets at the International Pow Wow trade show. A key cornerstone for VSCC’s international marketing efforts, those relationships will continue to grow at this year’s IPW will be held in Denver May 19th – 23rd. IPW puts the spotlight on the United States as a competitive global travel destination. Travel suppliers, destinations, tourism boards, hotels, attractions and domestic tour operators meet with current and potential clients from all over the world. The event brings together international tour operators, product managers, independent travel retailers and media outlets from all over the world with suppliers which include domestic tourism boards, hotels, and attractions.

Sponsored by the U.S. Travel Association, IPW is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and the largest generator of Visit USA travel. Not a typical trade show, IPW offers exhibitors three days of intensive pre-scheduled business appointments that would otherwise be generated only through an exhaustive number of around-the-world trips.

More than 6,000 delegates representing U.S. travel organizations attend from every region of the USA and international and domestic buyers and media from more than 70 countries conduct business negotiations during IPW. VSCC staff will be participating in the Tour and Travel and Media Marketplace components of the show. Click here to learn more about IPW!
