SPOOKY EATS IN FELTON’S MOST HISTORIC BUILDING
Drops in temperature, lights going out spontaneously, and eerie vibes were all confirmed by a team of “ghost hunters” recently, who were investigating chilling claims that the oldest building in the Santa Cruz Mountain town of Felton is haunted. The 142-year-old building is currently home to the Cremer House restaurant, but through the years has housed, fed and entertained lumberjacks and railroad workers. There have also been at least two known murders inside its walls. Built in 1874 by Thomas Cremer and his wife, who operated it as a boarding house, restaurant/tavern, gambling hall and brothel, the Cremer House now features classic American fare and craft brew.
