Interview with Public Art Muralist Marvin Plummer

Before artist Marvin Plummer completed his Jazz Alley mural in honor of the Kuumbwa Jazz Center’s 35th anniversary, he created one of downtown Santa Cruz’s best loved “graphic traffic boxes” -- the hairy dog at Laurel and Center Streets.  He also is responsible for the monolithic ocean wave mural on the city’s west side.
