A Morning at Manresa State Beach...

Gorgeous sunsets are pretty standard in Santa Cruz County. They're easy to catch, usually full of vibrant colors and pretty much always worth a look. Our sunrises are equally beautiful, but let's be honest, not all of us are willing to sacrifice that last hour or two of shut eye to see them! Well thanks to @dannyburg we've got a nice little glimpse into yesterday's moonset over Manresa State Beach. And Danny, your early morning surf session seemed well worth the sacrifice with this view!

Santa Cruz County 4th of July: Safety and Cleanup

Santa Cruz County beaches will host thousands of visitors over the 4th of July weekend. In fact, it marks the busiest beach weekend of the season! In an effort to protect and preserve our beautiful county, violators who disrespect the beaches will be subject to "Triple Fines". Read more below about specific violations of the Municipal Code that will be subject to a fine of as much as $1,305 with fees. Please be safe, have fun, and respect this beautiful county!
