Winter Cha-Cha-Changes at Seacliff State Beach

Winter storms have done quite a number on the county this year. Mudslides, road closures, fallen trees, rising rivers, and an ever changing coastline are just a few of nature's power moves we've witnessed in the last few months. Seacliff State Beach alone has seen a lot of changes, and although the famed SS Palo Alto has taken a beating, there's also been some glorious winter beach views as a result of all this weather. Guided Backpacking Adventures with California State Parks!

For the third summer in a row, California State Parks is offering Naturalist-Led Backpacking Adventures through the Santa Cruz Mountains! Whether you're new to backpacking or a seasoned nomad, there's an adventure waiting for you! This year there will be six backpacking trips offered from April through September 2017, ranging from one to three nights. Hike spectacular ridgelines and old growth redwood forests to sandy shores with our knowledgeable team of backcountry naturalists.
