Hello July! My Weekend In Santa Cruz

Nothing says 4th of July quite like a 4 day weekend! Okay, so not everyone had a four-day, but in Santa Cruz County, July 4th festivities had quite a run! Check out a few of the best beginnings to July and some of our favorite Independence Day celebrations from around the county! And when you're around town, be sure to use #VisitSantaCruz and #MyWeekendInSantaCruz so we can see what you're up to!

Hands-down, one of the best places to celebrate the 4th is at the beaches of Santa Cruz County. Beachfront vacation rental, coastal cliff bike rides, or down at the water, no matter how you slice it, the beach was an ideal place to kick-off July!

Holiday weekends tend to be a bit more special than the rest - lots of activities, great energy, and more time to explore the beauty of the county!
