#MyWeekendInSantaCruz

As you've likely gathered by now, this is not really my weekend in Santa Cruz, but yours - our fans! Check out a few photos from some locals and visitors who we think did this last weekend right. Take note, these are great ideas that will inspire your next visit to Santa Cruz!

WEEKEND OF MARCH 17 thru 19

Nothing says the weekend like a couple of new succulents and strolls with the pup. Westside Santa Cruz is full little gems like this, perfect for relaxed weekend exploring.

For some, weekends mean 99% outdoors to compensate for the week's stiff indoor demands. Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is a great choice to swing the pendulum back in your outdoor favor.

Another outdoor favorite is a walk around the Harbor. Nearby shops and restaurants, plus the beach, can make the Santa Cruz Harbor the perfect weekend day trip.

South County beaches are the ultimate relaxing retreat. They are as expansive as they are beautiful and it's easy to find your own little slice of the coast. And last weekend we saw quite a few folks sharing their morning wake up views from Manresa and Sunset State Beaches. Imagine waking up to this walk...Start planning your Santa Cruz County camping adventures and reserve your spot today.

If you haven't had an acai bowl, do yourself a favor and get one. In fact, stop by this place, Samba Rock, which is just one building over from the Visit Santa Cruz County Visitor's Center on Water Street in Santa Cruz. This can't be a bad choice since Samba is carrying the title for Best Acai Bowl in the Good Times Best of Santa Cruz County 2017.

As always, West Cliff Drive continues to give some of the best views all weekend long (and all week, for that matter!) On Sunday, approximately 6,000 runners participated in the She Is Beautiful 5K and 10K and there were lots of festive photos from those who were there. Not a bad view on race day, eh?
