Announcing the tour's most exciting year ever as hit entertainment debuts talking Thomas the Tank Engine and Thomas' best friend Percy! Dress up for Halloween with favorites Thomas and Percy, for a 20 minute train ride, entertainment, and fun filled activities for the entire family. Activities include: Temporary Tattoos, Face Painting, Story Telling, Videos, Train Play Tables, Pick a Pumpkin (small pumpkins for little ones), Cookie decorating, photos with Sir Topham Hatt, Thomas store and entertainment. Check website for specific times.

The Missing Arm of William Waddell
October 24, 2015
History takes a tall tale twist as the saga of this early pioneer unfolds. The silly, slightly haunting tours around the redwood loop trail beginning at 7:00 PM. Enjoy the redwoods on a fall night with music, storytelling and "Ranger Apples" around the campfire. All participants must register at Park Headquarters (registration opens at 6:30 PM). And it's free!

Chili Cook-Off at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Capitola Village Children's Halloween Parade
October 25, 2015
Get your costumes ready! Dress up the kids and bring the whole family down to the Village for some Halloween fun! The parade route begins on Capitola Avenue, near City Hall, it winds through the Village and down Monterey Avenue, ending at Esplanade Park. After the parade, families can relax in the park and enjoy free refreshments, then walk around Trick or Treating at Village Businesses. This is a really fun event for the whole family! Free!  Line up begins at 1:30 PM at the Beach and Village #1 Parking Lot (formerly the Pacific Cove Parking Lot) above Capitola City Hall and the Police Department.

Brew Cruz Haunted Tours: Westside Haunted Tour. 
October 28, 2015
Join Santa Cruz's spookiest Boo Cruz for an hour long tour of the most haunted spots on the Westside. Costumes are encouraged. $25. BYO seasonal beers onboard. Adrenaline-filled pint included post-tour. Must be 21+.

Spooky Brews - NuBo Halloween Party

We're celebrating Halloween NuBo-style! Come dressed in costume and receive happy hour pricing all night long. Spooky and delicious pop-up food will be catered by Ty's Eatery, Olde Blue will rock the brewery from 7pm to close and Show of Life photo booth will be on the scene capturing all the frightening fun. Give away prizes for the best jack-o-lantern. But this isn't just any old jack-o-lantern. "Jack" must have something to do with beer. Get creative and share your masterpiece with us. Free admission! Begins at 5 PM.

    Don't forget Gault School's annual Halloween Parade & Carnival ~ this Saturday Parade starts in front of The Buttery 9am- starts moving towards the Rio at 9:30am. The Carnival at Gault School is always GREAT!!!
